Introduction to Manchester

Manchester today is a vibrant, modern city with a proud industrial past.  Since the devastation of the IRA bombing of the Arndale Centre in 1996 Manchester has seen a great deal of urban renewal that has seen invbestment all over the city.  Manchester now continues to thrive as one of the biggest cultural and social centres in the UK.

The Manchester skyline is now dominated by the Bethan Tower, the tallest residential building in Europe.
