Metrolink Track Closures
Metrolink passengers in Manchester face long term disruption over the summer following the announcement of line closures. The work is part of a £100m refurbishment of the Metrolink tram system The work includes replacing nearly 20 miles of worn out track on the Bury to Altrincham line. A replacement bus service will be in operation over the period of disruption.
The Eccles line should not be affected by the work and will operate a normal service.
